Hoyos & Aguilar, P.A. was founded in 1999 by two entrepreneurs who set out to build a boutique practice centered on high-level technical quality, personal service, and long-term client relationships. From its office in Coral Gables, the firm has grown into a respected CPA firm serving clients both domestically and abroad.
The firm provides accounting, tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, and advisory support to a broad client base, including closely held businesses, professional practices, real estate and construction, and mid- to high-net-worth clients. This range of experience allows the team to approach each matter with both technical depth and practical business judgment.

Orlando Hoyos is a founding partner of Hoyos & Aguilar, P.A. With more than 30 years of public accounting experience, his practice focuses on individual, corporate, partnership, multistate, and international tax planning, consulting, and compliance.
Hoyos has advised automobile dealerships, retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, real estate clients, professional service businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and clients with inbound and outbound foreign business matters. His background includes formal training with a national accounting firm and specialized experience in Florida Sales and Use Tax.
Richard Aguilar is a founding partner of Hoyos & Aguilar, P.A. and oversees the firm’s accounting, audit, and litigation support services. With more than 30 years of public accounting experience, he has developed a strong practice serving construction companies, real estate developers, contractors, condominium associations, homeowner associations, manufacturers, service corporations, and professional practices.
Aguilar has also provided expert testimony in litigation matters and has extensive financial reporting experience related to contractors in need of certified financial statements for bonding requirements.
